🧠 What it teaches
- The steps of a finger-prick check
- Prick the side of a fingertip: it hurts less
- What to do when the number is low or high
The steps follow common advice (ADA, Diabetes UK): wash and dry hands, prick the side of a fingertip, use your own lancet. Many children use a sensor; a meter is still useful to double-check. The game uses the common 70–180 mg/dL (3.9–10 mmol/L) target range; your child’s team may use a different one, and their plan says what to do.
